New Titleist AP2 Irons Spy Pic
Right now there is very little information about the new Titleist AP2 Irons, but we were able to dig up this spy pic. (Click pic to enlarge)
What we see:
It seems to have a longer heel-toe and a slightly different sole grind than the original AP2. The pocket cavity is also different. And from this angle it looks like there is a little less offset. The Tungsten weight looks to be the same size and placement. Head has Smoother/tapered/refined edges.
As always, we will post more pics and a release date, as soon as they become available.

The Open Championship at Turnberry 2009: Halfway Point
“Tiger Woods is out, mercifully for many golf fans. Watching coverage on TNTtoday was reminiscent of a wake. So who’s left on top? A bunch of old guys and a links rookie in Steve Marino.”
“Co-leader Marino figures not to hold up because he’s never won before on the PGA Tour, much less a major championship. Tom Watson figures to go away because he’s already used up his annual allotment of 50 foot putts. One shot back of those two is the aching, aging, overweight Mark Calcavecchia. It’s just hard to believe that his body will make it 36 more holes.”

Ping G15 Driver Spy Pics

The Ping G15 looks like it will be the driver model targeted to the average golfer. It has a massive overall club head size, which will give it a large amount of MOI. And it has a long deep body that should prove to be extremely forgiving, while still producing a lot of distance off the tee.
Release date is said to be around August 10th 2009.

Ping i15 Driver Spy Pics

The Ping i15 looks like a pretty sweet players driver! Some of the features include: A dark black coating throughout the head and face. An extended hosel length, which some are saying may be intended for custom lie angle bending at the factory, depending on the buyers specifications. And finally, an increase in ball speed compared to the Ping V2 Rapture. The Rapture is already known as a ball speed behemoth, and one of the longest drivers on the market, so an upgrade to that should be amazing.
Release date is said to be around August 10th.

Tiger Woods’ Apparel Script for 2009 British Open at Turnberry

This is Tiger’s official apparel script (sent by Nike) for the 2009 British Open at Turnberry.
“The industry term for deciding exactly what shirts go with which pants, and which sweater, is scripting. Each company takes its scripting very seriously because apparel never looks better than when it is being worn by a great player on a beautiful course.”
